NerdyADHD.org is a disability advocacy, neurodivergent empowerment, and healthcare navigation organization founded in Green Bay, Wisconsin by Dr. Benjamin J. Royer.

Our story

Founded at the intersection of lived experience and evidence-based advocacy, NerdyADHD.org exists because the systems designed to serve neurodivergent people were not built with neurodivergent cognition in mind — and that gap is not incidental. It is structural, measurable, and addressable.

Dr. Royer holds a PhD in Human Ecology from Cornell University and has advanced heart failure, ADHD, and direct experience navigating the precise labyrinth this organization was built to map. Teaching, for him, is not a credential. It is survival — and the decision no one else should feel alone. We are better together.

Our mission

Disability advocacy, neurodivergent empowerment, and healthcare system navigation support — with particular focus on the barriers neurodivergent people encounter in systems that were not designed with their neurology in mind.
